Cheltenham Illustration Awards

I was very shocked and pleased to find out on the weekend that I had been shortlisted to the final 30 student entries for the Cheltenham Illustration Awards.

Last year, I entered the Cheltenham Illustration Awards with my 'Deforestation' piece. The awards consistently produce beautiful and innovative illustrations. This year's competition was judged by illustration hero, Shaun Tan.

I didn't hear anything so assumed that my entry was unsuccessful. It was not until last weekend when I was casually flicking through the 2012 catalogue that I came across my work in the final 30 shortlisted entries in the student category. Needless to say, I was over the moon!

Hallmark Placement Over...

Very sad to leave the wonderful Hallmark studios, but I had an amazing time and met some really lovely talented people. It has definitely cemented in my mind that I'd like to work more in the Greetings Card Industry.

Here's some of the stuff that I got up to during my time there.
