It's been a while

So! Life has been pretty crazy in the last few months, I got a job with The Great British Card Company as the inhouse illustrator so had to leave Swansea and move to Gloucester!

I've done a fair amount of freelance work and in the last few months so here you get it all in one go!

The Foot Down

I did one of a series of t-shirt designs for Ty at The Foot Down, he wanted a pretty specific look, a serious looking owl on handlebars that maintained a hand drawn look (aka wasn't too flat or digital looking) but was suitable for screen printing. Here it is!

I just Fell Apart

Here's a tshirt design I did for Bristol band Caves, they're touring lots in March so check them out! Oh, and you may recognise the bass player from the beerobics poster haha! Minty could teach you a thing or too about lunging and 'gin-ups' so go buy him a beer and get your alcocise on!

Say When!

A friend from home recommended me to do artwork for valley's band 'Say When!' They already had a design in mind incorporating their name into a microphone wire. They intend to get these printed on tshirts very soon so keep an eye out if you're interested!

My lovely friends of Dividers asked me to do a tshirt design. They gave me complete creative control to produce a design 'with a cute animal' on it. Gav told me to do a panda...but that made me not want to do a panda. I drew a giraffe. Fuck knows why, but the guys like it and they sold all the tshirts so I can't post you a link to buy one...but you could buy their Demo. From a totally unbiased point of view it's bloody good...no honestly, it even says so on punktastic. It's only £3 you tight fuck, buy it...now!!! Please :)

A few months back Rhys Pillai approached me and asked me to produce a tshirt design for a range of tshirts that he and his brother Owen are screen printing. I'm used to working to a brief so found the whole thing a bit daunting when they said I could do ANYTHING for my design! as long as it was screen-printable and two colours.

My first idea was this mandrill design, to make it suitable for screen printing I would have had to simplify it alot so I ended up doing a different design.

This will be going on the back of the tshirt with my name!

This is the design I've submitted. I'm happy with it but I don't know when it's actually getting printed because apparently I'm having a launch night. Scary stuff!!
