Watercolours

I have been working on some new stuff for my portfolio. Need to get something in there to show some versatility so reached for the watercolours for the first time in about a year. Happy with most of it. Need to get some practice in!

Updating my Portfolio

I've done a bit of work for my portfolio ready for my two week internship with hallmark up in bradford, I leave on Sunday so I've been a busy bee this week tailoring my work to greetings card and typography. I've found the method of working and style that I like and Hallmark seem to like it too, so fingers crossed the internship will go well :)

You may recognise some of the lyrics on the typography pieces from Lou Reed/Velvet Underground, The Replacements, and Descendents.

You Are Here

All the fund raising finally paid off, we began preparing for the Brick Lane exhibition by discussing themes, names and ideas for the identity. We finally decided on the name 'You Are Here.' Here are my submissions, but we ended up going for a poster that combined my type with an illustration by Rhi Pardoe and Dave Long, see the final poster here! We ended up making badges from the building illustrations of my poster.
